Our Story

Mike’s Mighty Micros was founded by Mike Mitchell, owner of Okaw Valley Orchard, a small apple orchard in Central Illinois. In 2019, Mike partnered with an agronomist to develop a powerful micronutrient solution designed to help plants reach their full genetic potential. The result? Healthier, more resilient plants with improved pest and disease resistance, bigger blooms, and enhanced nutrient density.

Three years ago, Mike discovered that some of the older, original apple trees in the orchard were facing difficulties. Recognizing an opportunity, he collaborated with an agronomist to develop 'Mike's Mighty Micros', a well-balanced blend of essential nutrients for plants. The image on the left shows a 35-year-old apple tree that was on the brink of death. Following three years of spraying the concentrated solution mixed with distilled water on the leaves, the tree exhibited a remarkable improvement in health. The leaves appeared larger and healthier than they had in years. Witnessing this transformation, Mike was inspired to make this natural super concentrate accessible to all, enabling everyone to cultivate larger, sturdier, and more nourished plants.
